Amazing debut novel!

This novel really took me by surprise! I love how fast paced it was, truly never a dull moment, I did not want to put the book down! I found myself trying to predict what was going to happen next, and was constantly amazed with the twists and turns it took. I was very invested to say the least! Can’t wait for book #2!

This story was captivating! I, especially, appreciated the author’s grasp of feelings. The way she described Valetta’s emotional conflict and character development was meaningful. She drew me in with the way she described situations and surroundings. I felt like I was there with Valetta, along for the journey.
I can’t wait to read what happens next!

Unpredictable ending, unpredictable characters.
The first scene when Valetta is on a blind date, provides perfect comedic timing and develops her character quite colorfully.
Early on in the read, I was hooked. She spends just the right amount of time developing the characters and their relationships to one another. I rate this book 5 out of 5 - hands down.
I can’t wait for the sequel!

The way I drank this book up so quickly! I got so into the characters and the story. I found myself coming up with theories of Owen’s backstory and motives, and editing those in my mind several times throughout the book. I can’t wait to see where Valetta’s journey takes her next.
